Docs: getting started with Kairev

Everything you need to set up Kairev, from connecting accounts and teaching the Company Brain to guardrail defaults, integrations and how to reach us.

Before you start

You need a work email, admin access to the accounts you want to connect, and about an afternoon. Start from /signup; your workspace is created during onboarding.

Step 1: Connect your tools

Connect from Settings, Connections. Each connection asks only for the permissions the feature needs.

Connection Used by Notes
Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365 Sales replies, Support OAuth; one per seat or a shared support inbox
Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar Sales Meetings are booked into the owning teammate’s calendar
HubSpot Sales, Support Leads, emails, replies and meetings are logged automatically
WhatsApp Business Support, Sales replies Meta’s Embedded Signup; you own the number
Website chat widget Support, Sales One JavaScript snippet
LinkedIn company page, X, Instagram, YouTube Marketing, Content Official APIs only
WordPress, Webflow, Ghost Marketing Blog publishing
Google Drive, Notion Company Brain Document import
Sending inboxes Sales Provisioned by Kairev on separate domains, or connect your own

Step 2: Teach the Company Brain

Add your website, product docs and help centre URLs. Import documents from Drive or Notion. Then complete three short forms: ideal customer profile, offers and pricing, and brand voice rules with examples. Kairev re-reads sources on a schedule; you can correct or remove anything it learned from Settings, Company Brain.

Step 3: Set goals and guardrails

Turn on the Desks you want and give each a goal, for example “15 qualified meetings a month”. Then review the guardrails. These are the defaults:

Guardrail Default Adjustable
Cold emails per sending inbox per day 30, ramping from 5 over 21 days for new inboxes 5 to 50
New prospects contacted per day 100 0 to 500, plan-limited

Spam complaint auto-pause 0.1% 0.05% to 0.3%

Step 4: Go live and watch the Activity feed

Every action appears in the feed with what was done and why. Immediate notifications cover handoffs, auto-pauses, booked meetings, broken connections and budget thresholds. You also get a daily Desk summary and a weekly results report.

Role Can
Owner Everything, including billing and guardrails

Talking to Kairev

Give instructions in the app, or message Kairev on Slack or WhatsApp once connected. Ask it to change a goal, pause a sequence, or explain why it took an action.

Credits

Credits cover the work Kairev does: researching a lead, writing and sending an email, answering a ticket, writing a blog post, generating a video. Heavier work uses more credits. Usage is shown live and capped by your budget. See pricing.

Getting help

Email hello@kairev.ai, or use the chat widget on this site, which is Kairev’s own Support Desk. For anything sensitive, a person picks up.
